Nike Unveils Black Vomero Premium With Chrome Mini Swooshes
Nike has expanded its popular running lineup with a sleek, all-black edition of the Vomero Premium, featuring subtle chrome mini Swooshes. The new design is part of the brand’s ongoing effort to blend high-performance footwear with everyday lifestyle appeal.
The Vomero Premium has been one of Nike’s standout releases of 2025, alongside the Pegasus Premium and Vomero Plus. While originally launched in bold colourways inspired by Nike’s running heritage – including Volt and Hyper Crimson – the brand now appears to be pivoting toward more understated, modern styles.
This latest version adopts a minimalist aesthetic, ditching the oversized “AIR” branding seen on earlier pairs. Instead, tiny chrome Swooshes dot the upper, giving the shoe a refined finish. The pair joins upcoming collaborations and colourways such as “Realtree” and “Chalk,” signalling a broader design refresh for the franchise.
Despite its lifestyle-ready look, the Vomero Premium remains built for performance. The sneaker features Nike’s max-cushioning technology, powered by a thick stack of ZoomX foam and large, exposed Air Zoom units in both the heel and forefoot for added responsiveness.
The black Vomero Premium with chrome accents is expected to launch in Spring 2026. It will retail for $220 in men’s sizes.
