Eight-Year-Old Aura V Becomes Youngest Grammy Winner In History

Eight-year-old American singer Aura V has set a new record at the Grammy Awards, becoming the youngest individually credited winner in the history of the prestigious music ceremony.

Aura achieved the milestone at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, where FYÜTCH & Aura V — a musical duo made up of Aura and her father – won the award for Best Children’s Music Album with their project Harmony.

The win places Aura ahead of the previous record holder, Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of music superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who earned her first Grammy at the age of nine in 2021.

Blue Ivy received the award for Best Music Video for Brown Skin Girl at the 63rd Grammy Awards, following her contribution to the visual. The song featured Beyoncé, Nigerian singer Wizkid and Guyanese-American artist Saint Jhn.

Despite appearing on the track, Saint Jhn was not included among the Grammy recipients because he did not feature in the official music video, which formed the basis of the award.

Aura V’s historic achievement has sparked widespread attention, highlighting the growing presence of young talents on music’s biggest stage and marking a significant moment in Grammy Awards history.
