Rick Ross Names Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Burna Boy As Dream Collaboration

American rapper Rick Ross has revealed the artists he would most love to collaborate with, naming a mix of legendary and contemporary music icons.

Speaking during a recent livestream interview, the Maybach Music Group founder said his ideal collaboration would feature reggae legend Bob Marley, Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, and Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy.

Ross described the hypothetical collaboration as something that would be historic if it ever happened.

According to him, bringing together artists from different musical eras and genres would create a powerful and unforgettable record.

“If I had a dream collaboration right now, it would be Rick Ross, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti and Burna Boy. Imagine such a record. To me, that’s king-level. That’s next level,” he said.

The rapper also mentioned that he would like to add another iconic voice to the lineup – Nigerian-British singer Sade Adu.

Ross admitted, however, that securing a collaboration with Sade might be difficult, noting that the reclusive singer rarely features on other artists’ projects.

“I am the boss but I don’t know if I could get Sade to collaborate with me. I will put that on the wish list. I love Sade. Salute queen,” he added.

Ross’ comments come as Afrobeats continues to gain global attention, with artists like Burna Boy collaborating with international stars and performing on major stages around the world.
