Air Jordan 6 'Reverse Infrared'

Air Jordan 6 ‘Reverse Infrared’ Set for February 14th Release

Jordan Brand is gearing up to kick off the 25th anniversary celebration of the Air Jordan 6 with a bold new twist on a classic design. The Air Jordan 6 “Reverse Infrared” is scheduled to launch on February 14, 2026, coinciding with NBA All-Star Weekend and Valentine’s Day.

The upcoming release offers a fresh take on the iconic “Infrared” colorway that has been a fan favorite for over three decades. This version swaps out several signature elements, drawing inspiration from a late – ’90s sample of Michael Jordan’s sixth signature shoe.

Unlike the original, which features a black midsole accented by infrared highlights, the “Reverse Infrared” flips the layout. The fiery infrared tone now cuts through an all-black base with a bold stripe along the sole. The design also takes a stealthier approach, ditching the reflective 3M underlayer typically found in the OG model.

Another detail sure to excite longtime collectors is the “Nike Air” branding on the heel, a nostalgic nod to early Jordan releases and a feature highly coveted by purists.

So far, the “Reverse Infrared” and the Air Jordan 6 “Cap and Gown” are the only confirmed drops for the silhouette’s anniversary year, but more releases are expected as 2026 approaches.

With its mix of heritage and innovation, the Air Jordan 6 “Reverse Infrared” is poised to be one of next year’s most sought-after sneakers, landing just in time for basketball’s biggest weekend and the spring sneaker season.
