‘I’m 34, Ready for Marriage’ – Nancy Isime
Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime has shared her thoughts on marriage, saying she feels ready to settle down and is clear about the qualities she wants in a life partner.
Speaking during a recent conversation with broadcaster Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Isime said personal character matters far more to her than wealth or social status. According to the actress, kindness is the most important trait she looks for in a potential husband.
She explained that she would rather commit to someone who is genuinely kind, even if they lack material advantages, noting that other shortcomings can be addressed over time. For Isime, kindness is not something that can be negotiated or compromised.
The 34-year-old actress also addressed public perceptions about her desirability, acknowledging that she attracts attention but stressing that marriage requires intentional choice rather than admiration.
“I am of marriage age. I am 34,” she said. “I am a very attractive lady and men can desire me, but I have to be careful about what I choose to settle with. Kindness is one of the most attractive qualities to me.”
Isime added that genuine kindness, not performative behavior, is essential before she can build any meaningful relationship, whether friendship or marriage, emphasizing that once that foundation is in place, other issues can be worked through.
