Nike Set to Release Highly Reflective GT Future “Metallic Silver” on December 6
After months of anticipation, Nike’s GT Future “Metallic Silver” is finally set for retail release on December 6, 2025, with a price tag of $200.
First previewed by rapper Wale during the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend, the basketball-lifestyle hybrid has generated significant buzz among sneaker enthusiasts for its futuristic design and standout reflective finish.

Sneaker stylist Veneda Carter, a well-known figure in the streetwear community, recently offered the most detailed look yet at the upcoming model. Her photos revealed the shoe’s striking reflective upper, which transforms from a matte silver finish under normal light to a dazzling, heel-to-toe glow when hit by a camera flash. The design is complemented by black accents on the outsole, tongue, and inner sockliner, adding a touch of contrast to the otherwise luminous silhouette.

While the shoe’s glossy material gives it a bold, modern edge, some sneaker watchers have noted that its texture may make it prone to creasing with wear – a trade-off for its unique reflective appeal.
The Nike GT Future “Metallic Silver” continues Nike’s push into fashion-forward basketball footwear, blending performance roots with streetwear aesthetics. Fans can expect it to drop via Nike SNKRS and select Nike Basketball retailers worldwide on December 6.
