Pokémon and PUMA Team Up for Limited-Edition Mewtwo Suede Sneakers
Global sportswear giant PUMA has joined forces with Pokémon for a new sneaker collaboration inspired by the legendary character Mewtwo. The limited-edition Mewtwo Suede will officially launch on October 25, 2025, exclusively at the PUMA Flagship Store in Las Vegas.
The upcoming release pays tribute to Mewtwo’s distinctive energy and design, featuring a two-tone purple colour scheme that mirrors the Pokémon’s iconic look. The sneaker’s light purple suede upper extends down to the translucent rubber outsole, while a darker purple Formstrip adds contrast and depth.
In a nod to Mewtwo’s psychic powers, lightning-inspired etchings streak across the upper, adding dynamic detail to the minimalist design. Beneath the semi-translucent sole lies the Pokémon’s Japanese name, ミュウツー (Myūtsū), and each pair includes a metallic Mewtwo hang-tag for collectors.
Unlike PUMA’s 2022 Pokémon collection, which featured multiple characters, this new collaboration shines the spotlight solely on Mewtwo – one of the franchise’s most powerful and revered figures.
According to PUMA, the sneakers will be packaged in an interactive specialty box, adding to their exclusivity. The retail price is set at $300, suggesting that fans can expect a premium unboxing experience to match the bold design.
