American Streamer Kai Cenat Says Nigeria Is the First Country Where He Felt “Real Love”

Popular American content creator and live streamer Kai Cenat has expressed a strong emotional connection to Nigeria, describing the country as the first place where he experienced what he called “100 per cent love.”

Cenat made the remark during a recent courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the Lagos House in Marina. The streamer, who first travelled to Nigeria in 2024, said his latest visit was to follow up on projects he began during his previous stay.

Speaking about his reception in the country, Cenat said he was deeply moved by the warmth he received upon arrival, noting that the level of affection stood out compared to other places he had visited.

“I’m happy to be here. I really enjoy coming back,” he said. “When I landed, the love was overwhelming. Nigeria is the first country where I felt 100 per cent love.”

During the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted some of his administration’s initiatives aimed at youth development and tourism growth in Lagos State. He also pointed to the success of the Eyo Cultural Festival organised by the state government last December, which attracted about 10,000 participants and drew thousands of spectators.

The visit further underscores Nigeria’s growing appeal among global digital creators and entertainers, as the country continues to position itself as a cultural and tourism hub.
