Ultimum Limited to Commission New Beverage Plant in Aba
Ultimum Limited is set to commission a new beverage manufacturing facility in Aba, Abia State, marking a major step in its expansion within Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods sector.
The state-of-the-art plant, located in the Osisioma industrial cluster, will be officially unveiled on March 25, 2026. The facility is expected to serve as the primary production hub for the company’s Razzl beverages, which come in flavours such as cola, orange, lemon and pamplemousse.
Company officials say the investment is aimed at boosting local manufacturing capacity while improving access to its products across the South-East, South-South and other parts of the country. The plant is equipped with modern production technology designed to ensure efficiency and maintain high quality standards.
Beyond production, the project is expected to deliver economic benefits to the region. The company projects the creation of hundreds of direct and indirect jobs spanning technical, administrative and distribution roles, while also opening opportunities for suppliers, logistics providers and retail partners.
Managing Director Austin Ufomba said the facility reflects the company’s confidence in Nigeria’s market and its commitment to delivering high-quality beverages to consumers.
The commissioning ceremony is expected to be attended by key government officials, including Alex Otti, alongside industry stakeholders.
The development aligns with broader efforts by the Abia State government to promote industrialisation and reposition Aba as a leading manufacturing hub in Nigeria.
