Bucci Franklin Opens Up About Childhood Struggles And Past Drug Use

Award-winning Nollywood actor Bucci Franklin has spoken candidly about his difficult upbringing, revealing that growing up without a father figure negatively affected his life during his younger years.

The actor made the disclosure during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where he reflected on his childhood experiences and personal journey.

According to Franklin, his father abandoned the family while he was still young, leaving his mother to raise him alone.

He described his childhood as troubled and admitted that the absence of his father contributed to emotional struggles that eventually pushed him towards drug use at one point in his life.

Franklin, however, said he was able to overcome the addiction through the support, dedication, and sacrifices of his mother.

The actor credited her for helping him rebuild his life and for playing a major role in his success both personally and professionally.

Speaking further, Franklin acknowledged the challenges faced by single parents, noting that raising children alone can be extremely difficult.

He also stressed the importance of positive parental guidance in the lives of children, particularly young boys growing up without father figures.
