PlayStation Announces New State Of Play Event For June 2
Sony has officially confirmed that a new PlayStation State of Play presentation will take place on June 2, 2026, giving fans another major showcase of upcoming PlayStation 5 titles.
The upcoming broadcast will feature an extended look at the highly anticipated Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games, one of the most awaited exclusive titles currently in development for the PS5.
According to an announcement shared by PlayStation on X, the event will run for approximately one hour and will include updates, trailers and announcements for several upcoming games.
The livestream is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM PT, 5:00 PM ET, 11:00 PM CEST and 6:00 AM JST.
Marvel’s Wolverine was previously featured during a 2025 State of Play presentation, where fans were shown a cinematic trailer with limited gameplay information. Expectations are now high that the upcoming showcase will reveal more detailed gameplay mechanics, combat systems and story elements as the game moves closer to release.
The February 2026 State of Play event featured several notable titles including Saros, Marathon and Beast of Reincarnation, and fans are anticipating more surprise announcements during the June presentation.
Speculation is also growing around possible updates to PlayStation’s Trophy system following Microsoft’s recent adjustments to Xbox Achievements.
Meanwhile, discussions surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI also resurfaced recently after an apparent PlayStation Store error briefly displayed the game at an incorrect price.
