I Was Financially Successful Before Meeting Paul Okoye – Ivy Ifeoma
Ivy Ifeoma has dismissed claims that she married Nigerian singer Paul Okoye because of his wealth, stating that she had already achieved financial success before their relationship began.
Speaking in a video shared on her TikTok page, Ifeoma addressed discussions surrounding relationships and financial independence, particularly the notion that marrying a wealthy partner should be a woman’s ultimate ambition.
According to her, while marrying into a financially comfortable family can provide access to opportunities, women should prioritise building their own careers and sources of income rather than relying solely on a partner’s wealth.
She noted that despite public assumptions linked to the age difference between her and the singer, she was already a millionaire before meeting Okoye.
Ifeoma argued that financial security and personal growth should remain key goals for women, stressing that a spouse’s wealth does not automatically become one’s own.
She further encouraged single women to invest in themselves, develop valuable skills, and pursue financial independence. According to her, successful and wealthy individuals are often attracted to partners who are ambitious, hardworking, and focused on their own goals.
Her comments have since generated reactions on social media, with many users weighing in on the ongoing debate about relationships, wealth, and financial self-sufficiency.
The remarks come amid continued public interest in the couple’s relationship, which has frequently attracted attention due to the age gap between them and speculation surrounding their marriage.
