Kiekie Explains Why She Won’t Collaborate With Some Content Creators

Nigerian content creator and actress Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has revealed why she chooses not to collaborate with certain colleagues in the entertainment industry.

Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Kiekie said she avoids working with skit makers whose content she considers excessively vulgar or indecent, explaining that such collaborations would not align with her personal brand.

She said:

“I would never collaborate with any skit maker that is too vulgar. I will not be able to collaborate with them.”

When the interviewer asked:

“Give me one name.”

Kiekie declined to mention anyone specifically, responding:

“Let me think about it. Hmmm. I don’t have a name of one but I have seen quite a number of them.”

She explained that her decision is based on brand compatibility rather than personal judgment.

“So if you’re too much breasts, bumbum, not that I have a problem with it but it’s just brand alignment.”

Kiekie stressed that choosing not to collaborate with someone should not be interpreted as disrespect for their work or success.

“My inability to collaborate with you doesn’t mean that I look down on what you do or I don’t respect what you do or I don’t see your hard work.”

She added:

“I recognize your hard work but we just don’t align. It will affect the way my own brands are approaching my own work.”
