adidas Launches Terrex Free Hiker 2 GORE-Tex Climawarm+ for the Winter Season
Adidas is stepping into the winter season with the launch of the Terrex Free Hiker 2 GORE-Tex Climawarm+, a high-performance hiking shoe that combines rugged durability with modern comfort.
The new release continues Adidas’ tradition of expanding its signature BOOST technology beyond running and lifestyle sneakers. Much like Nike’s widespread use of Air Max cushioning, BOOST has now become a cornerstone in various Adidas lines – and this latest model brings it to the outdoors.

Designed to handle cold and wet conditions, the Terrex Free Hiker 2 GORE-Tex Climawarm+ features a weatherproof shell made with GORE-Tex fabric for superior climate resistance. Its sleek all-black design includes a zipper along the quarter panel and a strap closure at the collar for easy wear, while a lugged outsole provides strong traction on slippery or uneven terrain.
Despite its rugged build, comfort remains central to the design. The midsole’s BOOST cushioning offers responsive support, ensuring that performance doesn’t come at the expense of comfort – even on long hikes or in challenging weather.
The Adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2 GORE-Tex Climawarm+ is available now on adidas.com for $250.
