adidas Revives Classic Jabbar Hi with Suede “Indigo Flowers” Design

adidas is continuing its revival of vintage basketball silhouettes with a fresh twist on the Jabbar Hi, this time unveiling a luxurious “Indigo Flowers” edition.

Once the signature shoe of basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the high-top model has seen a resurgence in recent months, appearing in collections by Willy Chavarria, Jerry Lorenzo, and Grace Wales Bonner. Now, the Three Stripes brand is bringing the retro sneaker into the spotlight once again with a richly textured, fashion-forward release.

The new “Indigo Flowers” version features an all-suede construction, replacing the traditional leather with a smooth, deep blue finish that nods to Sashiko denim – a traditional Japanese embroidery style known for its floral patterns. Red laces add a bold contrast, while an off-white midsole delivers a vintage aesthetic. Subtle gold branding provides a final touch of refinement, elevating the sneaker’s overall design.

With its fusion of sport heritage and streetwear sophistication, the adidas Jabbar Hi “Indigo Flowers” embodies the brand’s ongoing effort to blend archival craftsmanship with modern style.

The pair is available now on adidas.com for $120.
