Hollywood actress, Amber Heard has denied being dropped from the cast of the forthcoming sequel to Aquaman, ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ despite the criticism she continues to receive across social media platforms.
Filming for ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ has already been completed for the sequel, which is due for release on March 17, 2023 in the UK. However, the rumours about Heard being cut off from the movie and will be recast continue to circulate.
However, a spokesperson for the actress quickly shot down the speculation, saying in a statement to DailyMail.com: “The rumor mill continues as it has from day one – inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane.”
It should be recalled that the actress has remained in the middle of the storm following the drama that ensued in the course of her defamation trail against her former husband, Johnny Depp. Depp on the other hand has been on the receiving end of affection from fans all over the world.
At the end of the trail, the jury ruled in favour of Depp and the 36-year-old actress was ordered to pay Depp damages to the tune of $10 million and another $5 million in what it called punitive damages.
Heard on the other hand is expected to be paid $2 million in damages as ruled by the jury.
