Ayra Starr Exudes Confidence in New “Birds Sing Of Money” Performance Video
Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr has released a performance video for “Birds Sing Of Money,” the opening track from her sophomore album, The Year I Turned 21.
Ayra Starr shared the song’s unique origin, stating, “My brother, who is a music video director, paid a guy to sing a Fuji song about me, which is at the beginning of ‘Birds Sing of Money.’ This was a day after I released my first EP, as a gift. And the guy was just hyping me up. That’s a very Yoruba thing.”
Directed by Annie Bercy, the performance video showcases Ayra Starr’s powerful presence and confidence, perfectly capturing the self-assured essence of the track.
