Barbie Movie Memes and Outfit Jokes Have Taken Over the Internet
American actress and movie director, Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated live-action Barbie movie won’t be released until next summer, but that hasn’t stopped social media giant, Twitter from making the movie and its stars the main character of the month courtesy of an influx of footage from the cast currently filming in Venice Beach.
Pictures and videos of both Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling’s Barbie and Ken shooting in a variety of bright-coloured outfits have flooded Twitter timelines to the point where some have joked that they would probably end up seeing the entire movie before its official premiere.
In addition to Margot and Ryan, the film also stars Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, and Issa Rae amongst a host of others.
So far, the plot of te movie remains under wraps as fans continue to stir conversations around what the movie would be about.
