Bebe Rexha Rushed Off Stage After Getting Hit in the Head by Phone

Singer Bebe Rexha experienced a frightening incident at a concert in New York on Sunday night when she was struck in the head by a phone, prompting her to be rushed off stage.

Bebe Rexha shared a TikTok video showing her bruised face and bandaged head, reassuring her fans that she is okay.

The alleged perpetrator, 27-year-old Nicolas Malvagna, has been arrested and charged with assault by the New York police.

Disturbing footage captured by Alex Chavez at the concert shows a phone being thrown from the crowd, hitting Rexha’s face and causing her to collapse to the stage floor. Crew members quickly came to her aid.

The concert took place at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York as part of Bebe Rexha’s “Best F’n Night of My Life” tour.

The New York Police launched an investigation and determined that the phone was intentionally thrown by the 27-year-old male. He was arrested at the scene while emergency medical services attended to Rexha, who is now in stable condition.

The incident was met with shock and concern from fans and attendees. One concertgoer, Bernaud, tweeted a video of Bebe being escorted out of the venue and expressed well wishes for her recovery.

Bebe Rexha, known for hits like “I’m Good,” was nominated for a Grammy award in the new artist category in 2018. Her latest album “Bebe,” released earlier this year, includes popular tracks such as the collaboration with David Guetta, “I’m Good (Blue).”

In an interview with Variety, Bebe Rexha emphasized the importance of performing live and connecting with her fans.

The impact of the New York incident on the remaining five concerts of her tour, scheduled in Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, Orlando, and Houston, remains uncertain.
