Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has lauded Nigerians for their remarkable contributions across various sectors in the United States, claiming that the best doctors in America are of Nigerian origin.
Speaking on the Afric TV programme, the singer highlighted the influence of African talent in both professional and creative industries. “The best doctors in America are Nigerians. You can search it,” Davido stated, adding that even in global corporations like his record label, Sony Music, African ideas are at the forefront.
He also emphasised Africa’s growing impact on the entertainment world. “Netflix and Amazon Prime come to Africa to get movie ideas. Now, when you come on Netflix, you will see about two Nigerian movies in the top 10. Africa is next, trust me. I feel like we have everything but just missing a couple of things,” he said.
