Cassie Welcomes Third Child Amid Testimony in Diddy Legal Case
American singer Cassie has given birth to her third child with husband Alex Fine, just two weeks after providing testimony against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in an ongoing federal investigation.
The news of the birth was recently revealed in court by stylist and close friend Dante Nash. While Cassie and Fine have yet to publicly comment, the 38-year-old was visibly pregnant when she appeared in court earlier this month to testify.
Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, recently made headlines after speaking out in a high-profile case centered around allegations of sex trafficking and abuse involving her former partner, Diddy. Her testimony included claims about the nature of their decade-long relationship, including past confrontations over her alleged interactions with other men.
According to earlier legal filings, Cassie detailed a tense encounter between Diddy and actor Michael B. Jordan. She testified that she had spent a New Year’s Eve with the Creed star, which allegedly led Diddy to confront Jordan and threaten him. Jordan has not commented on the claims and it is unclear whether he will be called to testify.
Cassie also disclosed a brief relationship with rapper Kid Cudi in 2011, during a period of strain with Diddy. Cudi later took the stand himself, accusing Diddy of orchestrating an attack on his property. The rapper alleged that Diddy broke into his home, injured his dog, locked it in a bathroom, and set fire to his Porsche. Diddy has denied any involvement in the incident.
Cudi, visibly emotional during his testimony, described the long-term effects of the break-in on his pet and admitted the legal process had taken a toll on him. “It’s been stressful,” he said, referencing the subpoena and his court appearance.
The trial continues as more testimonies are expected. Meanwhile, Cassie and Fine, who married in 2019, are now parents to three children, continuing to expand their family amid the public spotlight.
