Diddy Allegedly Threatened To Make People ‘Disappear’
Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing fresh allegations as his sex trafficking trial continues, with former Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard testifying that the Bad Boy Records founder once threatened to make people “disappear.”
Richard, who was part of the girl group formed under Diddy’s label, took the stand and claimed that the hip-hop executive implied he had the power to end lives. “That people could die,” she clarified when asked what she understood the threat to mean.
She also alleged witnessing Diddy physically abuse his former partner, singer Cassie Ventura. “He would drag her and kick her and punch her in the mouth,” Richard testified, describing violent incidents she said she observed during their relationship.
Richard is among several accusers who have filed lawsuits against Combs, previously accusing him of harassment and sexual abuse – allegations he has strongly denied.
The trial has become a high-profile case, with multiple women making serious claims against the 54-year-old entrepreneur. In her testimony, Cassie claimed that Diddy threatened violence against rapper Kid Cudi after discovering an affair between them.
According to her account, Diddy became enraged during a private gathering after going through her phone and finding emails exchanged with a member of his team. She testified that he placed a corkscrew between his fingers and lunged at her in a fit of rage. “His eyes blacked out,” she recalled.
Cassie said she escaped the hotel and called Kid Cudi using a burner phone. The rapper allegedly picked her up. Later, when she returned to Diddy’s home to de-escalate the situation, she claimed he threatened both her and Cudi, saying, “he was going to hurt Scott and me.”
She also alleged that Diddy threatened to release sex tapes of her and kicked her in the back as she tried to leave his home.
In a previous lawsuit filed in November 2023, Cassie accused Diddy of saying he would “blow up Kid Cudi’s car.” Around that time, the rapper’s vehicle did in fact explode, though Cudi has not commented publicly on the matter or the wider allegations.
The trial is ongoing, with testimonies painting a dark picture of abuse, threats, and intimidation. Diddy has denied all criminal wrongdoing and maintains his innocence.
