Federal Investigation into Diddy Expands to Miami Hotel Amid Allegations
Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently under federal scrutiny following allegations of sexual misconduct, with the investigation now extending to his activities at a Miami hotel. According to reports, federal prosecutors from New York’s Southern District have subpoenaed an unnamed hotel in Miami, seeking records related to Diddy and his former partner, Daphne Joy, dating back to 2008.
The subpoena reportedly requests detailed information, including dates of their stays, payment methods, contact details, IP addresses, and hotel surveillance footage. This development indicates that the investigation into the music mogul is still active.
This is not the first time federal authorities have targeted Diddy. In March, his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by Homeland Security as part of an ongoing investigation related to the allegations. At the time, Homeland Security Investigations confirmed the operation, noting the involvement of multiple agencies.
Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, responded to the raids, criticizing the use of “military-level force” and defending his client’s cooperation with authorities. Dyer emphasized that neither Diddy nor his family members have been detained or restricted in their movements and denounced the investigation as a “witch hunt” driven by unproven civil lawsuits.
The investigation, led by the Southern District of New York, continues as Diddy faces multiple allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct, though no criminal or civil liability has been established at this time.
