I Wish I Could Bring My Mother Back to Life – Skales

Nigerian musician Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, widely known as Skales, has shared another heartfelt tribute to his late mother, expressing his longing for her return. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Shake Body singer wrote, “Men, I wish I could bring back my mother,” a post that resonated with many fans and sparked an outpouring of sympathy.

Skales’ mother passed away in October 2022, leaving a profound void in his life. In a recent interview with VJ Adams, the 33-year-old artist opened up about his growing regrets, particularly about not starting a family before her death.

Reflecting on his loss, he revealed the impact of being the last surviving member of his bloodline. “Right now, I regret not having baby mamas. I really regret it. I’m like the only person in my bloodline that is alive right now. So, the whole bloodline relies on me to produce [children],” he admitted.

The emotional revelation highlights the singer’s struggle with grief and the realisation of his responsibility to carry forward his family’s legacy. Fans have since rallied around Skales, offering support during this deeply personal journey.
