Susan Pwajok, a popular Nollywood actress, has finally responded to the persistent rumours circulating about her alleged romantic involvement with singer Ruger.
Recalling Ruger’s initial denial during Clout Africa’s Clout Talk Concert 2.0, which was met with disbelief on social media, the singer later admitted in an Instagram post last year that he was indeed dating actress Susan Pwajok. He wrote, “So Susan Pwajok is my girlfriend. Y’all can get off her d*ck now, thank you.”
However, during her recent appearance on MTV Base Africa’s Let’s Get Chatty, Susan Pwajok addressed the speculation, stating that the alleged relationship would remain a rumour until she personally confirms it.
In response to a question from her colleague Genoveva Umeh, who asked about the rumours of her dating someone famous, Pwajok clarified, “At the end of the day, it’s a rumour until you see or hear it from my mouth. Until I come and say I’m dating this person, please, it’s fake news. Even if you see a video of me kissing the person, it’s fake until I say yes, I’m with this person.”
Pwajok’s statement reflects her desire to maintain privacy regarding her personal life and relationships. While rumours may persist, she insists that any confirmation or denial should come directly from her. The actress’s words indicate that she values the importance of her own voice in addressing speculations about her romantic involvement.
