During the BET Awards, Coleman shared that she has spoken to close contacts of Foxx and confirmed that he is in good health, expressing frustration with media outlets spreading misinformation without accurate information.
Coleman explains that Foxx has always valued his privacy, which is why he has been selective in sharing details about his health. Foxx has maintained a low profile throughout his career, including his personal life, and this approach does not surprise her. She assures that Foxx is resting, recovering well, and will return to his usual self soon.
Earlier reports suggesting that Foxx experienced adverse reactions to a COVID-19 vaccine, leading to partial paralysis and blindness, were debunked by Foxx’s representative. The claims, initially discussed on Dr Drew Pinsky’s show, were deemed “completely inaccurate.”
Foxx’s daughter, Corrine, also provided reassurance, confirming that her father has already left the hospital and has been recovering for a while. She mentioned that he even had enough strength to participate in a game of pickleball. Corrine expressed gratitude for the support and prayers received during this time.
