Jude Okoye Breaks Silence on P-Square Feud, Refutes Fraud Allegations
Jude Okoye, the long-time manager of the now-defunct music duo P-Square, has addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his younger brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye. The public feud between the twins has escalated recently, with accusations of fraud and betrayal surfacing.
The latest chapter in the P-Square saga unfolded when Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, claimed in an interview that the group had split once again, accusing his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr. P), of involving him and their elder brother, Jude, in a legal battle with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged fraudulent activities.
In response, Peter released an open letter accusing Paul and Jude of conspiring to defraud him, further intensifying the already strained relationship between the siblings.
During an Instagram live session on Saturday, Jude Okoye finally responded to the allegations, dismissing Peter’s claims as baseless. He accused Peter of deliberately distorting the facts to portray the situation as fraudulent, suggesting that Peter involved him in the feud because of the public’s expectation that he, as the eldest brother, should resolve the conflict.
Jude expressed frustration over being repeatedly dragged into the disputes between Peter and Paul, stating, “These people [Peter and Paul] have children that are teenagers. If they were in America, they would be grandfathers now. Why is it that Peter always involves me in their fight? It’s because he had that impression that people always called Jude, the elder one, [to say] ‘go and settle your brothers, go and put your family in order.'”
He added, “My family is in order. Let them put their family in order. If they are doing business together, let them put it in order. I have tried to the point I sacrificed myself.”
The ongoing feud between the Okoye brothers has left fans of P-Square disheartened, as the once-celebrated duo continues to struggle with internal conflicts that have plagued their relationship for years.
