American rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West has revealed that he no longer listens to rap music, citing a lack of meaningful content in today’s songs.
In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, the 47-year-old billionaire explained that modern rap no longer aligns with his personal and financial interests.
“I don’t listen to rap. I don’t know who the f*ck is rapping anymore. Yuno Miles is likely my favorite artist,” he wrote.
West further questioned the relevance of rap music to his lifestyle, saying, “I’m a 47-year-old billionaire – why the f*ck would I listen to rap? There’s not one piece of information in rap that benefits my agendas or helps me get money.”
