Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix Docuseries Gets a December World Premiere
King Charles III and Prince William are not going to like hearing the news that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s docuseries just got a release date on Netflix.
AS reported by Marca, no exact date was confirmed but there was a confirmation that it’s airing during the month of December.
The Royal Family already has a complicated relationship with the streaming platform as they created the award winning drama series, ‘The Crown.’
Needless to say, many royals don’t agree with everything that has been depicted in the show so far.
According to the folks at People, the royal couple who lives in California are about to begin telling their story to the entire world.
The docuseries is expected to address everything that happened in the life of Meghan and Harry from their perspective.
This includes all the issues the actress encountered inside the royal family and the rejection against her that Prince Harry had to endure.
An anticipated series that will be directed by Academy award-nominated Liz Garbus is dropping sometime in December with no exact date yet.
As ‘The Crown’ became the most watched series in the world inside the platform, they want to piggy back on this success in order to release this other series.
Meghan and Harry Might Not Have Creative Freedom
Even though this story is rolling out this story through their production hub named Archewell Productions, they might not have complete creative freedom with their stories.
Back in 2020, the couple signed a multi-year deal with the streaming platform to create documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming.
However, Markle herself recently revealed that the story Netflix is telling with this docuseries might not be the exact story she and her husband wanted to tell.
The couple entrusted the story to the filmmakers involved with Netflix. After getting through conflicting release conflicts, we will finally get to see the final product.
