My Wife Sending Nudes to Men – Gospel Singer Paul Nwokocha’s Second Marriage Crashes
Nigerian gospel singer Paul Nwokocha’s second marriage to his wife, Goodness Nwokocha, has reportedly come to an end, less than a year after their union.
The couple tied the knot in September 2023 following Nwokocha’s separation from his first wife, Alice, whom he had accused of maltreatment. Goodness, who hails from Nkpa in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, was said to have moved from Lagos to marry the singer at the insistence of his uncles.
However, sources close to the family revealed that the marriage quickly fell apart, with tensions surfacing as early as May 2023. According to reports, Goodness allegedly faced ill treatment from the gospel singer, leading to the eventual collapse of the relationship.
As of now, the bride price has been officially returned to Nwokocha’s family, signalling the formal dissolution of the marriage.
Paul Nwokocha Responds
Reacting to the reports, Nwokocha accused his estranged wife of infidelity, claiming she had been sending explicit images and videos to other men. In a video circulating online, the gospel singer defended his decision to end the marriage, stating that he would not tolerate behaviour he deemed inappropriate.
“I have heard so many people talk about my marital problem on social media, and I want to tell you something: If I marry today and I find out that the wife I married is doing abominable things before God and man, I will send her out of my house,” he said.
He further questioned how others would feel if their spouse engaged in similar behaviour, insisting he owed no one an apology for his decision.
“I married a wife, not a whore. So, I owe nobody an apology for this. Stop calling me names. No matter how long I’ve been married, if I find out my wife is doing evil before God, she is going out of my house,” he added.
The allegations and the subsequent breakdown of the marriage have sparked discussions on social media, with divided opinions on the matter. Neither Goodness Nwokocha nor her family has publicly responded to the claims.
