Nike Previews “Gym Red” Edition of the Vomero 5 With Metallic Detailing
Nike is expanding its growing lineup of tech-inspired running silhouettes with a new “Gym Red” rendition of the popular Vomero 5, a model that has remained at the centre of the tech-runner wave well into 2025.
The upcoming colourway echoes the layout seen on the earlier “Iron Grey” edition, hinting that Nike may be adopting a recurring design formula for future releases. In this version, a bold Gym Red hue dominates the mesh base, quarter cage and outsole, while layers of brushed metallic silver and chrome overlays add a reflective edge to the design.
To soften the otherwise striking palette, the midsole, lining and laces are presented in Nike’s signature Sail tone, giving the sneaker a contemporary, slightly vintage finish.
The Vomero 5 “Gym Red” is expected to hit retailers in Spring 2026 with a retail price of $170.
