Nike Revives ACG Phassad With New “Bold Berry” Colourway
Nike’s All Conditions Gear (ACG) line is continuing its push into archival releases with the return of the Phassad hiking shoe in a new “Bold Berry” colourway, set to launch in Spring 2026.
Originally released in 2002, the ACG Phassad has quietly re-emerged as part of Nike’s wider retro strategy, which has seen the brand revisit outdoor silhouettes from different eras. Recent reissues across the ACG range include models such as the Izy, Rufus, Goadome and Baltoro, and the Phassad is now gaining renewed attention among fans of early 2000s footwear.

The shoe was designed by Scott Portzline, a former senior designer at Nike ACG who also worked on select Air Max models and later contributed to the Nike Shox line. The Phassad is known for its unconventional, retro-futuristic look, drawing inspiration from hiking tents. Its most distinctive feature is a protective shroud that covers the laces, secured with a buckle and Velcro strap.
Nike quietly brought back the model last autumn in its original “Black/Yellow Zest” colour scheme and has since introduced several new variations. The latest “Bold Berry” edition embraces the vibrant aesthetic long associated with the ACG brand.

The shoe features a rich purple base, complemented by black, anthracite and photon dust accents across the upper and rugged sole unit. A classic early-2000s ACG logo appears on the heel in its signature orange tone, reinforcing the retro appeal.
The Nike ACG Phassad “Bold Berry” will be released in men’s sizing in Spring 2026, with a retail price set at $145.
