Portable Seeks Reconciliation with Music Industry Peers and Sam Larry

Nigerian singer Portable has taken steps to mend fences with his colleagues in the music industry and with Sam Larry, just days after being arrested over a N14 million debt related to his Mercedes GLE luxury car.

On Monday, May 20, 2024, Portable used Instagram Live to extend an olive branch to fellow Nigerian artists Seyi Vibez and Marlian Records signee Zinoleesky. In a widely shared clip, he also addressed his past disagreements with Sam Larry, an associate of Naira Marley.

During the live session, Portable explained that his previous diss tracks were not personal attacks but rather a strategy to generate income. He expressed his desire to end the conflicts and move forward peacefully with all parties involved.

This reconciliation attempt follows a past incident where Portable reached out to congratulate Seyi Vibez on his new Lamborghini Urus, but did not receive a response. Portable’s recent efforts indicate a shift towards fostering better relationships within the industry.

By seeking to make amends, Portable aims to put his past disputes behind him and focus on a more collaborative future in the Nigerian music scene.
