Release Date For Thor: Love and Thunder in Theatres and Streaming Platforms

In less than 24 hours, Thor: Love and Thunder will be premiered to the excitement of movie fans all over the world.

Thor: Love and Thunder, directed by Taika Waititi marks the fourth Thor solo film since the character’s debut back in 2011. Alongside Waititi, star Chris Hemsworth is back as the hammer-wielding God of Thunder, while Natalie Portman returns in her first MCU film since 2013 as Jane Foster/ Mighty Thor.

Love and Thunder has left fans thirsting for the movie as they looked forward to Marvel Studios’ latest theatrical adventure.

The movie has earned itself a large share of positive reviews with The Direct’s Richard Nebens calling it “one of the best films in [the MCU] to date.”

However, as you might already know, with every new theatrical MCU release now comes the question of when the title will appear on Disney+. So, as Thor: Love and Thunder approaches a wide release, here are the best bets as to when the film will hit Disney’s streaming platform, as reported by The Direct.

When Will Thor: Love and Thunder Begin Streaming?

With Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder releasing in movie theaters around the world, fans have begun to wonder when the film will eventually come to Disney+. Right now, that timeframe is anyone’s guess, but there is some data available to look at to get a good idea as to when the movie will make its way home.

Thus far in Phase 4, audiences have seen a few distances between theatrical release and streaming debut.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the most recent release, saw the shortest time exclusively on the big screen as it started streaming only 47 days after release in theaters. If Love and Thunder were to follow in MoM’s footsteps, that would put the Chris Hemsworth sequel on Disney’s streaming home on Wednesday, August 24. Right now, that feels like the best bet.
