Reminisce Names Asake, Psycho YP, Odumodublvck Among His Favourite Artistes

Veteran Nigerian rapper Reminisce has revealed his admiration for several emerging stars in the Nigerian music scene, showcasing his ongoing connection with the country’s new wave of talent. Speaking on a recent episode of the “I Said What I Said” podcast, the legendary artist, whose real name is Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, listed Asake, Psycho YP, and Odumodublvck as some of his top picks.

Reminisce, known for supporting younger acts, shared that he has long been a fan of Asake, even before the artist signed with YBNL. He praised Asake’s unique neo-fuji sound, saying it deeply resonates with him.

Another artist catching his attention is Psycho YP, who has made waves in Nigeria’s alté and trap music scenes with his innovative sound. Reminisce acknowledged YP’s growing influence both locally and internationally.
