Rihanna Shares Joy of Motherhood and Son RZA’s Role as a Big Brother
Superstar Rihanna is embracing motherhood, relishing the experience as she raises her two sons, RZA and Riot, with partner A$AP Rocky. The singer and entrepreneur recently spoke about her journey as a mother and her sons’ evolving relationship during the launch of her Savage x Fenty line at Nordstrom.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Rihanna reflected on how much she enjoys watching her children grow and learn. “It’s fun, I literally enjoy it so much,” she shared. “I’m just living through them, amazed by every new discovery they make. They’re teaching me how to be their mom as much as I’m guiding them in this world.”
Rihanna also touched on her eldest son, RZA, adjusting to his new role as a big brother to Riot. She described how protective RZA has been, saying, “The second his baby brother cries, he’s right there. He’s actually crying too—he’s so worried. He loves him! It’s just tough sharing toys and pacifiers.”
The event also coincided with a candid revelation from A$AP Rocky. In an interview with W Magazine, Rocky recounted the early moments of his relationship with Rihanna, hinting that their bond was sparked during the filming of his 2012 “Fashion Killa” music video. Rocky reminisced about the chemistry that developed and shared that they reconnected years later, eventually starting a family together.
The couple welcomed their sons, RZA in 2022 and Riot in 2023, and have since been thriving in both their personal and professional lives. As Rihanna continues to balance her career and motherhood, her story has captured the hearts of fans around the world.
Savage x Fenty is now available at select Nordstrom stores and online.
