Robert De Niro, at 79, Becomes a Father for the 7th Time
Robert De Niro, the 79-year-old actor, is now a father of seven children as he welcomed a new child. The Associated Press confirmed the news on Tuesday. However, no further details or statement about the new arrival have been made public by the representative for De Niro.
The Oscar-winning actor has children from his two previous marriages. He has two children, Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, from his first marriage, and five children from his second marriage. The five children are twins, Julian and Aaron, aged 27, Elliot, aged 24, and the youngest, Helen Grace, aged 11.
De Niro is currently promoting his new comedy film, “About My Father,” which is set to open on May 26. De Niro has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including two Academy Awards, one for his supporting role in “The Godfather: Part II” and the other for Best Actor in “Raging Bull.”
In 2011, he was also awarded the Golden Globes’ Cecil B. DeMille Award for his significant impact on the entertainment industry. Five years later, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
