British rapper Skepta has reacted after Nigerian singer Portable publicly criticized Olamide, sparking concerns that he might be the next target of the controversial artist’s outbursts.
Portable recently took aim at Olamide over rumors of a fallout between the YBNL boss and his former signee, Asake. The Zazu Zeh crooner accused Olamide of giving him just a verse on their 2021 collaboration instead of signing him to his label. He also alleged that the rapper “snatched” his producer, dancer, and promoter.
Following the incident, fans speculated that Skepta—who featured Portable on Tony Montana last year—might be next in line for criticism. The UK rapper soon found himself trending on X, prompting him to address the situation.
“Why am I trending? Lol,” Skepta wrote in a post.
A fan responded, “I think you know why,” to which Skepta replied, “I’ve just seen Portable is dragging somebody again. Apparently, I’m next. We dey wait lol.”
