Sylvester Stallone: I’m Here to Prevent Heartbreak For My Daughters

Sylvester Stallone, the 76-year-old actor, holds the belief that young love is akin to “a temporary form of insanity,” and he is determined to shield his daughters, Sophia (26), Sistine (24), and Scarlet (20), from heartbreak in their romantic relationships.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he expressed his intention to prevent them from making regretful decisions associated with the irrationality often found in youthful love.

To foster stronger bonds with his daughters, Stallone agreed to participate in an eight-part reality show called ‘The Family Stallone.’

Recognizing his frequent absence due to his work commitments, he humorously remarked that the show provided an opportunity to spend significant time with his grown-up daughters, jokingly adding that it would be a way to ensure their company by eliminating any escape routes they might have.

Sophia, an aspiring filmmaker, mentioned that Sylvester had been overly protective of her in the past, portraying him as a unique kind of father.

She described his dual nature: on one hand, he transforms into a fiercely protective figure when a boy enters the picture, almost resembling his action hero persona from the movie “Rambo.”

On the other hand, he embraces the role of a “girl dad” by engaging in activities like baking with his daughters and watching shows like ‘The Bachelor,’ revealing a softer and more sensitive side.
On the subject of dating, Sistine, an actress and model, revealed that their father could be quite intimidating to her boyfriends.

Acknowledging his overprotectiveness, she shared an anecdote about a boy’s first encounter with Stallone. As the young man leaned in for their initial kiss, he noticed Sylvester standing on a balcony, creating a dramatic silhouette against the backdrop. Startled, the boy fled and never returned.

Sistine expressed that dating with a father like Sylvester Stallone proved challenging.

Although they are now older and in relationships, she lamented the lack of effort on her father’s part to get to know her boyfriends, a situation that often hurts her feelings due to the minimal involvement.

In summary, Sylvester Stallone views young love as a temporary state of irrationality and aims to shield his daughters from its potential heartbreak.

Through participating in a reality show, he seizes the opportunity to spend quality time with his grown-up daughters.

Sophia highlights her father’s dual role as both a protective figure and a sensitive “girl dad.” Sistine admits that her dad’s intimidating nature can make dating difficult, sharing an amusing incident involving her first kiss.

As they enter adulthood and establish relationships, Sistine expresses disappointment in the lack of effort Sylvester puts into getting to know her boyfriends, causing her to feel hurt.
