Symba and Eminem

Symba Claims He’s a Better Rapper Than Eminem, Says ‘Slim Shady’ Just ‘Rhymes Words’

During a recent panel discussion called “The Great Debate” at REVOLT WORLD in Atlanta, California native Symba sparked a heated discussion by asserting that he is a better rapper than the legendary Eminem. He suggested that Eminem’s lyrical content is more style than substance, placing himself above the self-proclaimed Rap God.

“I respect Eminem on a level as a man,” Symba began. “But as a rapper, I feel like I can name five better rappers.”

When panelist Tierra Whack directly asked him if he thought he was better than Eminem, Symba hesitated briefly before responding with a confident “Yes.” He then questioned the substance of Eminem’s lyrics, stating, “Anybody can rhyme words, [but] what are you saying?”

Eminem, despite his immense success, has faced criticism throughout his career, particularly from fellow artists. Last year, The Game claimed he was a “better rapper” than Eminem during an interview on the Drink Champs podcast and challenged Eminem to a Verzuz battle.

The Game doubled down on his comments in an Instagram video, inviting Eminem to settle the debate through a rap battle. He released a diss track titled “The Black Slim Shady” on his Drillmatic – The Heart vs. The Mind project in November 2022, targeting Eminem.

Eminem responded to The Game’s challenge on the track “Realest,” a collaboration with Shady Records artist Ez Mil, which was released in August. In his verse, Eminem referenced envious rappers and suggested that the only reason The Game’s music still gets play in clubs is because he continues to perform in them.

The debate surrounding Eminem’s status in the rap world remains a topic of discussion among fans and fellow artists, with Symba now adding his voice to the ongoing conversation.
