Tyla Tops Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Artist Chart for 2025
South African breakout star Tyla has been named Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Artist of the Year, leading the genre’s biggest names and marking a major milestone in her rising global profile.
The newly released Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Artists 2025 year-end ranking places Tyla at the summit, ahead of Nigerian heavyweights Wizkid, Rema, Davido, and Burna Boy, who hold the second to fifth positions.
The top ten also features American-Ghanaian singer Moliy and Nigerian artists Asake, Shallipopi, Seyi Vibez, and BNXN, reflecting the continued dominance of West African talent on the U.S. Afrobeats charts.
Further down the list, the 11th to 20th spots are occupied by Fola, Tems, Olamide, Fido, Ayra Starr, Omah Lay, Chella, Kizz Daniel, Zinoleesky, and T.I Blaze, highlighting the depth and diversity of the genre’s stars making waves internationally.
British-Nigerian acts Odeal, Young Jonn, Odumodublvck, Kunmie, and Ayo Maff round out the chart, reinforcing Afrobeats’ expanding influence in both Africa and the diaspora.
