Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, recently celebrated the 13th anniversary of his debut album, “Superstar.” Reflecting on his journey and achievements since the album’s release, the “Holla At Your Boy” singer expressed gratitude and highlighted his financial success.
In a celebratory post on his X handle, Wizkid thanked God for his blessings and proudly declared himself a “millionaire in every currency.” He emphasized the importance of genuine success, urging his fans to strive for real accomplishments rather than living deceptive lifestyles.
Wizkid wrote: “13 yrs since ‘Superstar’! First album! Thankful for all God’s blessings. Healthy family! Blessed life! Love God. Millionaires in every currency! Real-life winners! Make sure you win in real life, no deceive yourself! You deserve it.”
Wizkid’s debut album, “Superstar,” was released on June 12, 2011, under Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). The album featured hit tracks like “Don’t Dull,” “Pakuromo,” “Tease Me,” “Holla At Your Boy,” and “I Love My Baby,” which propelled him to stardom.
After the release of his sophomore album, “Ayo,” in 2014, Wizkid left EME and founded his own record label, Starboy Entertainment. Since then, he has continued to rise in the music industry, achieving international acclaim and numerous accolades.
