Rihanna Shares Snap of Son RZA as She Waits on Arrival of Second Child
Rihanna took to Instagram to share a photo of her son RZA, as she enjoys her tropical vacation while awaiting the arrival of her second child.
The picture showed Rihanna’s partner, A$AP Rocky, holding their 14-month-old son above his head against the backdrop of the sky and palm trees.
Captioning the photo, Rihanna wrote, “My Bajan boyz… .”
The couple has been enjoying their time in Barbados, Rihanna’s home country, and she was recently photographed proudly displaying her large baby bump while enjoying some ice cream.
Speculation about their marital status arose when A$AP referred to Rihanna as his “wife” during his Spotify concert at the 2023 Cannes Lions Festival on June 21.
However, neither Rihanna nor A$AP have confirmed whether they secretly tied the knot.
While Rihanna shared a wholesome post, A$AP caused controversy with a recent Instagram message.
To mark Father’s Day, he posted a video of himself smoking beside the heavily pregnant Rihanna.
The video was part of a series of images featuring the couple and their young son.
Fans expressed concern in the comments section, criticizing A$AP for smoking around his pregnant wife.
One comment read, “You really shouldn’t be smoking indoors next to your pregnant wife.”
Last year, Rihanna revealed in an interview with Vogue that she had given up smoking marijuana during her pregnancy.
A$AP captioned the post with the message, “EVERYDAY FATHERS DAY,” and Rihanna playfully commented, “The Mayers boys stole my whole heart! Happy Father’s Day nerd.”
Rihanna and A$AP began dating in 2020, but they had been linked professionally as early as 2013.
Their son’s name, RZA, pays tribute to producer and rapper RZA, leader of the Wu-Tang Clan, whose real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, as well as incorporating A$AP’s middle name.
