Tyla’s “Push 2 Start” Music Video Brings a Splash of 2000s Nostalgia
Tyla has released a vibrant new music video for her single, “Push 2 Start,” reviving the early-2000s spirit in a playful, upbeat setting. Directed by Aerin Moreno, the video places the 22-year-old singer in a lively car wash, capturing a carefree, retro vibe that recalls the iconic style of the era.
The single is part of the deluxe edition of her debut album, Tyla, which dropped eight months after the original release. The expanded album introduces three new tracks, including “Push 2 Start,” and features collaborations with South African talents Tony Duardo, Optimist, and Ez Maestro. Tyla’s self-titled album initially made waves with chart-toppers like “Water,” which secured a Grammy for Best African Music Performance and included a remix with Travis Scott.
“Push 2 Start” marks another energetic addition to Tyla’s discography, celebrating her unique fusion of nostalgia and modern pop.
