Ukraine’s Eurovision Winners Auction Off Trophy For Ukrainian Army
In the spirit of solidarity to the people of Ukraire, the winners of the Eurovision Song Contest have auctioned off their trophy to raise money for Ukraine’s armed forces.
Ukranian rap group, Kalush Orchestra took to Facebook to say they had raised 900-thousand US dollars (836,334 euros) by selling the trophy to the highest bidder.
The post suggested that the winning bid was made by crypto currency exchange Whitebit.
Kalush Orchestra won the contest, held in Italy earlier this month, with their song “Stefania.”
