However, in a recent Instagram post dedicated to his sister on her birthday, Foxx revealed the pivotal role she played in his recovery.
In the heartfelt caption accompanying a series of photos, including one of the two of them together, Foxx praised his sister’s strength and referred to her as a courageous lioness, embracing the spirit of Leo season. He credited her decisions with ensuring that he survived the ordeal, acknowledging that without her, he might have lost his life. The post conveyed immense love and appreciation, with Foxx expressing that he would cherish her forever.
Jamie Foxx and his family have faced previous challenges, as their sister, DeOndra Dixon, tragically passed away in 2020 at the age of 36. Despite the grief, Foxx remains thankful for the support and love he receives from his surviving sister, Deidra.
Following his hospitalization, Foxx had been receiving physical rehabilitation care at a medical facility in Chicago. Although he has been spotted out and about in the city over the summer, he had refrained from providing updates about his condition until now. In a recent video shared on Instagram, he explained that he wanted his fans to remember him in happier moments, laughing, partying, and working on various projects.
Foxx’s latest project, “They Cloned Tyrone,” is currently available for streaming on Netflix. As he continues to recover and move forward with his career, Jamie Foxx remains grateful for the love and support of his family, especially his sister, whose presence has been a source of strength during challenging times.
