Wizkid Sets New Spotify Records with Latest Hit, ‘Kese (Dance)’
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, has shattered multiple streaming records on Spotify with his latest single, Kese (Dance).
The track has become the most streamed song on Spotify Nigeria within its first 24 hours, amassing an impressive 1.57 million streams. This achievement surpasses Wizkid’s previous record of 1.016 million opening-day streams, held by his collaboration with American R&B artist Brent Faiyaz on Piece Of My Heart.
Globally, Kese (Dance) also set a new milestone for an African song, accumulating 2.753 million opening-day streams on Spotify worldwide.
