Yung Miami Accuses Tyla Of Stealing Her Unreleased Song ‘Chanel’

American rapper Yung Miami has accused South African singer Tyla of stealing her unreleased song after the Grammy-winning star teased a new single titled “Chanel” on social media.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Yung Miami alleged that Tyla copied her song idea after she had privately shared it with her. The rapper expressed disappointment over the incident, saying she felt hurt seeing Tyla promote a track similar to hers.

“This girl really ran off with my song and I don’t know how to feel about it. Mind you, I played this song for this girl,” Yung Miami wrote in a post.

When asked by a fan to clarify who she was referring to, Yung Miami confirmed that her comments were directed at Tyla.

The accusation has since ignited debate online about artistic originality, song ownership, and creative boundaries between African-American and African artists.

As of press time, Tyla has not publicly responded to the allegation.
