Ex-Manager Refutes Oritsefemi’s Claims About Burna Boy and D’banj
Ijoba Danku, the former manager of singer Oritsefemi, has publicly disputed recent claims made by the artist regarding his interactions with Burna Boy and D’banj.
Oritsefemi, in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, stated that he had provided shelter for Burna Boy during a disagreement with his mother and had sold his Prado SUV to D’banj. Additionally, he accused Danku of defrauding him and betraying his trust.
Speaking on the latest episode of the “Doyin’s Corner” podcast, Danku categorically denied Oritsefemi’s assertions, describing them as false. “Oritsefemi did not sell any Prado to D’banj. I don’t support lies. Burna Boy never slept in Oritsefemi’s house for once. How would he claim he helped Burna Boy during his fallout with his mum? Did he do a family meeting with them? [Laughs],” Danku remarked.
These statements add a new layer to the ongoing controversy surrounding Oritsefemi and his former manager, highlighting conflicting narratives about past events involving prominent figures in the Nigerian music industry.
