50 Cent Reflects on Two Decades in Rap Alongside Eminem and Dr. Dre

As he marks 20 years in the rap game, 50 Cent shares a nostalgic tribute to his enduring friendship and collaboration with iconic hip-hop figures Eminem and Dr. Dre.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday (March 22), 50 Cent, also known as Fif, reminisced over the swift passage of time, accompanied by photos capturing moments with Eminem and Dr. Dre in 2004 and 2024.

With the caption “20 years 🙈 Damn that went fast,” 50 Cent’s post garnered over 450k likes, evoking sentiments of admiration from fans celebrating his unwavering presence in the industry and his seemingly age-defying appearance.

Among the flood of comments, one fan playfully remarked on the trio’s enduring bond, stating, “Black doesn’t crack, Eminem is one of us 😂,” while another praised 50’s strategic execution in his career, highlighting the importance of mentorship and resilience.

The camaraderie between 50 Cent, Eminem, and Dr. Dre has been a cornerstone of their collective success. Dr. Dre’s production prowess contributed to 50’s breakout debut album “Get Rich Or Die Tryin'” in 2003, featuring chart-topping hits like “In Da Club” and “If I Can’t,” released under Eminem’s Shady Records and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment.

Their collaboration continued on subsequent projects, including 50’s 2005 album “The Massacre,” solidifying their status as a formidable trio in hip-hop.

In a parallel celebration of Dr. Dre’s impact on the culture, the legendary producer was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier in the week. Eminem, DJ Quik, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent were among the esteemed guests who paid tribute to Dr. Dre’s unparalleled contributions to music.

Reflecting on Dr. Dre’s legacy, Jimmy Iovine praised him as “the greatest partner, friend, ally you could possibly have,” underscoring his influence across genres and his indelible mark on the entertainment industry.

Dr. Dre’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, fittingly placed next to Snoop Dogg’s, serves as a testament to his enduring legacy and ongoing influence on generations of artists and fans alike.
